A. Two modules on:

• SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEMES: PRINCIPLES AND BENEFITS
• PRINCIPLES OF FINANCING AND FINANCIAL SYSTEMS

The modules have been developed by the Social Protection Programme of the International Training Centre of the ILO, based on materials produced in cooperation with the Social Security Department of the ILO and the International Social Security Association.

They are composed of an Introduction and a set of learning units. In the Introduction you find information on the module, a preliminary self-assessment and the assignment to be completed.

The modules have been developed by the Gender Coordination Unit of the ITC ILO as part of two distance learning courses:

• Mainstreaming Gender eQuality in the world of work
• Gender Poverty and Employment
